Capasso Joins Formed Fiber Technologies as CFO
AUBURN, ME -- October 26, 2005 -- John Capasso of Falmouth has been named Chief Financial Officer of Formed Fiber Technologies (FFT).
Capasso worked for SPX Corporation for over a decade, most recently as president of the company’s Dielectric Communications subsidiary in Raymond. He held other executive positions with SPX , including Group Vice President & CFO for the Technical Products & Systems Group, Vice President & CFO for Dielectric, and Vice President & CFO for GFI Genfare in Elk Grove Village, IL. Prior to SPX, John spent nine years as divisional Vice President & Controller for Cubic Corporation in Hauppauge, NY.
John received his Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Boston College and attended New York University’s Stern School of Business. He started his career with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, LLC as Senior Auditor in Stamford, CT during which time, he received his CPA. He is a member of the American Society of CPAs and the Maine State Society of CPAs.
John and his family reside in Falmouth, Maine. They enjoy taking advantage of the many recreational activities that Maine offers including downhill and cross country skiing, kayaking and camping.
